About the role

The Operations Specialist assists the Operations team while representing the organization with humility, integrity and accountability. The Operations Specialist provides support to the local market by ensuring that the turn schedule accurately reflects all lease end and start dates, by updating the vendor dashboards with any changes to the turn schedule, by managing the vendor-pay portion of the turn process and by ensuring that regulatory requirements are being met. This role is integral to streamlining the unit-turnover process and contributing to the overall success of property management initiatives.


What you'll do

  • Assists with work and progress of the Operations Department across the assigned market
  • Provide feedback to the Operations and Maintenance teams on property projects and tasks
  • Investigate and evaluate tenant account reconciliations during security deposit return process
  • Assist with the arrangement and management of vendors and oversee projects associated with specific tasks duties and responsibilities
  • Report necessary and pertinent information to the Operations Manager as requested
  • Attend and contribute to regularly scheduled Operations team meetings
  • Capacity to work overtime during periods of high volume activity
  • All other duties, as assigned


Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent and Property Management experience preferred
  • Understanding, personable and approachable

  • Flexibility and adaptability to work and assist in multiple job assignments

This is a salaried position. The annual range for this salary is $43,000-$48,000 and is dependent on experience.
