About the role


Gravity is looking for a people-focused Manager, People & Culture to support our expanding U.S. team. Based in Tampa, you’ll be the go-to P&C partner for employees and managers — ensuring payroll runs seamlessly, benefits are competitive, and our people feel supported from onboarding through every stage of their journey. This is a hands-on role where you’ll directly shape the employee experience and help build scalable people practices that match our growth. 


What you'll do

  • Own U.S. payroll & benefits administration (Rippling) 
  • Lead onboarding & offboarding for our US Employees to deliver a best-in-class employee experience 
  • Provide trusted guidance on employee relations and coach managers 
  • Support performance management cycles and deliver HR insights 
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws 
  • Champion culture, engagement, and recognition initiatives for the U.S. team 


What you'll bring

  • 5+ years of HR experience (SaaS or high-growth environment a plus) 
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. employment laws  
  • Payroll & benefits expertise; Rippling experience preferred 
  • Strong relationship-builder with excellent judgment and communication skills 
  • Based in Tampa, FL with ability to be in-office 2x per week
