Role Overview

Gridline is seeking a Data Management Analyst to support the day-to-day data and operational workflows that power our private markets platform. This role is ideal for someone early in their career who is highly detail-oriented, eager to learn, and excited to work at the intersection of finance, operations, and technology.


You’ll help transform unstructured investment information into clean, reliable data, support fund and investor onboarding, and assist with core fund activity across the investment lifecycle. You’ll work closely with teammates across Operations, Product, and Engineering while building a strong foundation in private markets and fintech.

Core Responsibilities
  • Source, organize, and maintain structured data sets on alternative investment products and managers.
  • Transform unstructured documents into clean, standardized, and reliable data for internal and client use.
  • Perform routine and ad-hoc data quality checks, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and timely updates.
  • Create and refine documentation to support repeatable, scalable data processes across the team.
  • Partner with Product, Engineering, and Investment teams to integrate new data pipelines into the platform.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline, standardize, and automate workflows to drive operational efficiency.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related field — or equivalent practical experience.
  • 1–3 years of experience in finance, investment operations, fund administration, data operations, or a similar environment (internships and part-time work included).
  • Strong organizational skills, exceptional attention to detail, and a bias toward accuracy.
  • Proficiency with Excel and a desire to learn new data, analytics, and financial systems.
  • Genuine interest in alternative investments, fintech, and the evolution of private markets.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Curiosity and eagerness to to continuously learn and grow
  • Clear communicator and collaborative teammate who enjoys working cross-functionally.
