Role Overview

Gridline is seeking a senior, quota-carrying sales leader to own revenue outcomes within an assigned territory across the private markets ecosystem, selling into the RIA channel. This role is responsible for executing Gridline’s go-to-market motion in-market, closing new business, expanding existing accounts, and delivering consistent, predictable results.

This is an externally facing role for an experienced seller who understands private markets, how RIAs buy, how long sales cycles work, and how to navigate complex stakeholder groups across investment, operations, finance, and leadership teams.

Core Responsibilities
  • Own net-new and expansion revenue for an assigned territory, with full accountability for bookings, pipeline coverage, and forecast accuracy
  • Execute Gridline’s go-to-market strategy within the territory, translating company priorities into consistent field-level results
  • Build, manage, and advance a high-quality pipeline through outbound prospecting, inbound opportunities, and strategic referrals
  • Personally lead and close complex, high-value deals with senior decision-makers, including CIOs, COOs, CCOs, Partners, Principals, and founders
  • Develop deep, trusted relationships across target accounts, positioning Gridline as a long-term platform partner
  • Drive multi-product adoption and account expansion to maximize territory revenue and customer lifetime value
  • Manage deals end-to-end, including qualification, discovery, value articulation, pricing alignment, and contract execution
  • Maintain strong CRM discipline with accurate forecasting, pipeline reporting, and activity tracking
  • Partner closely with Marketing, Product, and Client teams to support demand generation, customer success, and expansion
  • Represent Gridline professionally at client meetings, industry events, and conferences within the territory
Qualifications
  • 10+ years of experience in complex enterprise sales and relationship management within private markets, asset management, fintech, or wealth management
  • Proven success carrying and closing a quota in long, consultative enterprise sales cycles
  • Strong understanding of private market investments, fund structures, and allocator workflows
  • Established network across RIAs, family offices, private wealth managers, and/or institutional allocators
  • Experience selling technology-enabled solutions across diverse buyer personas with varying levels of technical sophistication
  • Ability to engage credibly with senior decision-makers and investment professionals
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts
  • Highly self-directed and effective in a remote, performance-driven environment
  • Willingness to travel 15–20% within the assigned territory
