Role Overview

As a Senior Software Engineer you will provide technical leadership, guidance, and mentoring on design, code, and strong engineering practices. You’ll be joining a highly talented team where you can help to drive both the mission and technical direction of Gridline.

Core Responsibilities & Qualifications
  • 5+ years of backend engineering experience, including ownership of complex production services.
  • Expertise in Go, with hands‑on experience building scalable, fault‑tolerant backend systems.
  • Strong understanding of distributed systems fundamentals (concurrency, data modeling, caching, observability, resiliency patterns).
  • Ability to produce clean, maintainable, well‑tested code and raise the quality bar for the team.
  • Experience designing and evolving SaaS architectures with an emphasis on performance and reliability.
  • Collaborative mindset, comfortable partnering with product, design, and operations to deliver high‑impact features.
  • Fintech or regulated‑industry experience is a plus, especially with payments, reconciliation, or ledger systems.
  • Experience with Terraform or infrastructure‑as‑code in cloud environments is a bonus.
