  • Supporting commercial conversations with utility engineering teams and leadership, providing subject matter expertise;
  • Providing input into further development, training, and testing of Gridsight’s AI algorithms and network models.

Your Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field;
  • 6-10+ years of experience in Power Systems Engineering or Electrical Engineering, focusing on distribution systems, grid modernization, and DER integration;
  • Expertise in Dynamic Operating Envelopes, grid constraint modeling, and/or flexible interconnection;
  • Proficiency with advanced power system modeling tools such as PowerFactory, CYME, PSS/E, or similar;
  • Familiarity with grid codes, regulations, and emerging trends in the energy sector;
  • Strong communication and project management skills;
  • Self-starter mentality; you’re able to independently prioritize tasks and manage time effectively with minimal oversight;
  • Experience working with utilities or energy technology startups preferred;
  • Knowledge of AI or machine learning applications in power systems preferred.

Ways We Work:

  • Remote-first, office-optional. Do you work your best from home, in office, or a mix of both? Either way, we’ve got you covered.
  • Work flexibly, communicate frequently. No hard and fast core working hours, and asynchronous communication is embraced [unless you have client commitments, of course]; transparency is the name of the game.
