About the Role


Gryphon is looking for highly motivated accounting professionals to join our growing team. The Supervisor/Manager Fund Accounting position is an intermediate/senior associate level position open to professionals looking to continue developing expertise in Fund Accounting. Our ideal team member is someone eager and motivated to progressively grow with us. We want people who are capable of problem solving and thinking outside of the box to achieve their goals.


What you'll do


Oversee the day to day fund accounting operations for open and closed end mutual funds, and private investment pools.

  • Ensure accurate processing of all fund trades.
  • Ensure timely delivery of cash availability to advisors.
  • Review and validate all fund transactions, including capital stock, income and expenses.
  • Review position and cash reconciliations to custody banks, and brokers daily.
  • Review daily/monthly/quarterly Net Asset Values of funds.
  • Assist with client onboarding.
  • Special projects as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
  • 5 + years experience in similar role, with a focus on Regulated Investment Companies and/or alternative investments funds.
  • Strong experience with fixed income security accounting treatment
  • Strong experience with corporate actions
  • Strong experience with derivatives transactions
  • Experience with private investment and accounting treatment
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and able to interact with others at various levels
