About the role
Gryphon is looking for highly motivated accounting professionals to join our growing team. The Senior Accountant position is an intermediate/senior associate level position open to professionals looking to continue developing expertise in Fund Administration and accounting. Our ideal team member is someone eager and motivated to progressively grow with us. We want people who are capable of problem solving and thinking outside of the box to achieve their goals.
What you'll do
- Ensure accurate processing of all fund trades.
- Ensure timely delivery of cash availability to advisors.
- Process and validate all fund transactions, including capital stock, income and expenses.
- Reconcile positions and cash to custody banks, and brokers daily.
- Calculate daily/monthly/quarterly Net Asset Values of funds.
- Assist with client onboarding.
- Special projects as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- 1+ years experience in similar role, with a focus on Regulated Investment Companies and/or alternative investments funds.
- Ability to work independently.
- Attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and able to interact with others at various levels
