Job Summary:
As a Commercial Building Automation Systems (BAS) Controls Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring customer satisfaction by proficiently servicing products and equipment at assigned locations. Collaborate with team leaders and customers to execute projects effectively, prioritize safety, and maintain high standards of service delivery.
 
Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, diagnosing and repairing equipment and systems at customer locations.
Coordinate with team leaders and customers to understand project requirements and ensure smooth on-site installations and repairs.
Enforce safety standards and maintain accountability of company assets.
Demonstrate flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed.
 
Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent with 3-5 years of experience in HVAC/Controls preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and handheld devices.
Valid driver's license with a clean record.
Previous experience with Direct Digital Control (DDC) systems is desirable.
 
Physical Demands:
Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Safely operate a vehicle and wear appropriate safety gear.
Perform physical tasks such as twisting, squatting, reaching, and standing for extended periods.
Lift and move objects up to 40 lbs. routinely.
Maneuver through access areas and climb ladders safely.
 
Work Environment:
Navigate variable weather conditions and potential hazards associated with mechanical equipment.
Non-Compete Agreement:
Engaging in work similar to GSM Services during non-working hours may lead to termination and legal action.
