About the Role

• We are looking for a Full Time Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team

What You'll Do

• Managing accounts payable using accounting software and other programs
• Handling accounts payable for separate entities and vendors
• Analyzing workflow processes
• Establishing and maintaining relationships with new and existing vendors
• Ensuring bills and payroll are paid in a timely and accurate manner while adhering to departmental procedures
• Facilitating payment of vendors, which may include verification of federal ID numbers, reviewing purchase orders, and resolving discrepancies
• Processing due invoices for payments
• Processing transactions and performing accounting duties such as account maintenance, recording entries and reconciling books of accounts
• Assisting with accounting records and ledgers by reconciling monthly statements and transactions.
• Additional duties as assigned

What We're Looking For:

Education:

• High school diploma or GED certificate, college (Preferred)

Qualifications:

• Intermediate knowledge of Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, basic formulas)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Experience:

• 3+ years Accounts Payable Experience
