About the Role

We’re looking for an exceptionally skilled CNC Wizard to help ramp up our production. The ideal candidate is a master of machine setup, programming, and troubleshooting, with the ability to take complex designs from concept to flawless finished parts. You will work in a fast-paced production environment, ensuring our CNC machines operate at peak efficiency and deliver top-quality results.


What You’ll Do

  • Setup & Commissioning: Install, align, and calibrate new CNC machines; ensure they meet operational specifications.
  • CAM Programming: Develop and optimize CAM programs for a variety of parts and materials using industry-standard software.
  • Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and programming issues to minimize downtime.
  • Production Support: Maintain efficient workflows, monitor production quality, and make continuous improvements to increase output and precision.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with design engineers, production staff, and quality control to ensure seamless integration from CAD model to finished product.
  • Maintenance: Perform preventive maintenance and keep detailed records of machine performance.


What We’re Looking For

  • Experience with Haas machines
  • Proven experience setting up and commissioning CNC machines.
  • Experience working in a high-volume production environment.
  • Proficiency in CAM programming and toolpath optimization.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills in mechanical, electrical, and software aspects of CNC equipment.
  • Familiarity with G-code, M-code, and CNC control systems (e.g., Fanuc, Siemens, Haas).
  • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to precision.

You must be legally allowed to work in Canada and be local or willing to relocate. This role is based in Cambridge, Ontario and telecommuting is not an option. 


Salary: $30-$80/hour based on experience - flexible
