Halker Consulting is a nationwide provider of multi-disciplined Engineering, Design, Project Management, Procurement and Field Services for Oil & Gas, and other Energy industry sectors.

The company specializes in Oil and Gas surface facilities design and engineering to include; multi-well site design, central processing facilities, full field development and optimization, and federal, state, and local regulatory compliance.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Build relationships with outside suppliers and customers
  • Develop and manage RFP’s, RFQ’s, PO’s and Bid Agreements
  • Manage and keep current vendor MSA and contacts database
  • Oversight of all procurement support throughout the organization
  • Develop and refine procurement procedures and standards within the organization.
  • Work directly with all engineering disciplines within the organization to support project procurement needs.
  • Research and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, selection, service, support, availability, reliability, as well as the supplier’s reputation and history
  • Monitor vendor performance to ensure compliance; implement vendor tracking guidelines and metrics for consistent evaluation/reporting
  • Monitor shipments to ensure goods come in on time and resolve problems related to undelivered goods

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2-5 years of procurement experience
  • Experience with MSA’s, RFP’s, RFQ’s, PO’s and Bid Agreements
  • Ability to work independently, organize and accurately prioritize work, be detail-oriented, understand when urgency is required and use good judgment in various situations.
  • Ability to problem-solve.
  • Good time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks & priorities
  • Ability to build and maintain positive relationships, both internally and externally, while maintaining a client service orientation.
  • Excellent negotiation skills
  • Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
  • Ability to listen and communicate with clients and internal engineering disciplines, and understand their needs and expectations


Compensation and Benefits:

  • Expected Base Salary Range: $55,000 / year – $80,000 / year, commensurate with experience
