About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Environmental Professional to support Transportation and Oil & Gas infrastructure projects across Colorado. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring environmental compliance, conducting impact assessments, and managing client relationships across various projects.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage the ever-changing landscape of project deliverables across environmental compliance and transportation projects and support the adapting of changing project conditions.
• Work closely and collaborate with clients, contractors, project managers, and other engineers to keep projects on track within scheduling and budgeting.
• Integrate environmental responsibilities into the project development process that ensures compliance from initial planning stages through all construction phases.
• Collaborate and support individuals within Halker that are outside of direct disciplines on occasion and where needed to gain exposure across various project fields.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Geology, Biology, Environmental Engineering, or similar discipline
• 4+ years of experience
• Experience supporting multi-disciplined environmental projects, focus on Health Safety Officer duties also a plus
• Oil and Gas experience a plus, Public Works and Infrastructure experience specifically with Air/Noise permitting in CO, as well as interpreting soil sample lab results
• Technical abilities include: ESRI; ArcGIS Pro/ArcGIS Online
• Project management software a plus: Monday.com, clickup, PowerBI
