The Director, Strategic Alliances is a pivotal leadership position dedicated to architecting and scaling Harbor Compliance’s partner ecosystem. This leader owns the strategy and revenue performance for a diverse channel network, including law firms, accounting firms, and legal-tech platforms. By building a repeatable growth engine, the Director ensures our partnerships deliver significant value to the organization and provide seamless professional services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a multi-year roadmap for the partnership and alliance strategy across the legal, accounting, and professional services ecosystems.
  • Drive partner-sourced revenue performance and manage pipeline health to meet or exceed annual growth targets.
  • Establish and lead a high-performing team of partnership managers and account executives focused on partner origination and activation.
  • Design and implement scalable partner lifecycle management programs, including automated onboarding, training, and enablement playbooks.
  • Collaborate with Marketing to launch co-branded content, joint events, and strategic go-to-market initiatives that enhance market presence.
  • Partner with Product and Operations teams to influence roadmap priorities and ensure high-quality service delivery for partner-referred clients.
  • Maintain rigorous operational rhythms for forecasting and reporting accuracy within the CRM to ensure clear revenue attribution.
  • Represent the organization as a thought leader at industry conferences and within professional associations to build deep market relationships.

Requirements:

  • Proven success building and scaling a channel or partnership function from the ground up within a high-growth environment.
  • Extensive experience selling into or co-selling with law firms, corporate legal departments, or accounting firms.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor high-performance teams to achieve complex revenue goals.
  • Professional experience in technology or professional services organizations during rapid expansion phases.
  • Strong strategic planning capabilities with the ability to define partner segmentation and commercial models.
  • Expertise in managing partner-sourced pipeline metrics and optimizing client acquisition costs.
  • High level of proficiency with enterprise CRM and marketing automation platforms, preferably HubSpot or Salesforce.

Skills and Knowledge:

  • Deep understanding of partnership co-marketing tactics and advanced revenue attribution modeling.
  • Advanced business insight with the ability to translate market trends into actionable partnership opportunities.
  • Exceptional communication skills used to negotiate complex commercial agreements and facilitate cross-functional alignment.
  • Practical knowledge of entity management, licensing, or tax compliance services.

Compensation: 

Compensation at the time of offer is based on factors such as skill set, experience, qualifications, and work location. Salary is one part of Harbor Compliance’s total compensation package. Other benefits may include health benefits, flexible paid time off, parental leave, fertility and adoption assistance, 401(k), and educational reimbursement. Note that the salary range and benefits apply only to U.S.-based candidates.


Additionally, this role might be eligible for discretionary bonuses or commission payments.

The pay range for this role is:

166,333 - 176,667 USD per year (US National)
