Harell Data is building the intelligent infrastructure for the next era of scientific discovery. While AI has revolutionized digital industries, progress in the physical sciences-from drug discovery to material science-is currently bottlenecked because the most valuable training data remains isolated, unorganized, and difficult to access.
We are solving this by providing an end-to-end ecosystem that enables the secure sharing of proprietary datasets alongside the high-performance compute and orchestration layer required to train large-scale models. By bringing compute to the data within a single, integrated environment, we are creating the foundational stack that transforms raw scientific data into the next generation of domain-specific foundation models.
You'll be the founding Product Manager at Harell Data, reporting directly to the CTO. You'll own product direction across the platform - partnering closely with customers, engineering, and design to decide what we build and why. You'll have real ownership and the chance to build the product playbook from scratch - then scale with the company as it grows.
What You Will Do
- Own product direction end to end - Set the strategy, prioritize the roadmap, and decide what gets built and what doesn't.
- Bring clarity to hard problems - Our users are wrestling with real technical complexity. Your job is to cut through it. Decide what matters, what to leave out, and turn the messy middle into a clear path forward.
- Be the customer's voice in the building - Run design partnerships, sit in on the calls that matter, turn what you hear into product direction the team can act on.
- Partner with GTM from day one - Work hand-in-hand with sales on enterprise deals; build the feedback loops and materials that turn early conversations into closed customers.
- Drive execution with engineering and design - Define the why and the what, then partner closely on the how to ship what matters.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of product management experience, including time at an early-stage startup or as an early hire on a new product line
- Strong track record of customer-facing product work - running design partnerships, joining enterprise sales calls, and turning those conversations into product direction
- Sharp analytical, prioritization, and problem-solving skills - you make decisions with conviction even when the data is incomplete
- Technically curious and comfortable going deep with engineers; you've worked somewhere where the playbook didn't exist yet
- Bonus: experience in biotech, drug discovery, or Health & Life Sciences
