About the Role
Harness is seeking a Sales Operations Manager to own and optimize the systems, processes, and data that power our sales engine. Reporting to the VP of Sales, this role will play a key part in driving revenue growth, improving forecasting accuracy, and increasing sales team productivity. You’ll partner cross-functionally with Marketing, Customer Experience, and Product to align on process and technology—ensuring we convert more leads, retain more customers, and grow customer lifetime value.

What You'll Do
Grow Revenue:
- Lead-to-Revenue Optimization: Analyze and optimize the full sales funnel to increase conversion rates, accelerate the sales cycle, and drive more closed revenue from both inbound and outbound sources.
- New Revenue Streams: Partner with Sales and Customer Success to identify and implement upsell and cross-sell opportunities within the customer base.
- Customer Retention & CLTV: Support post-sale teams with tools and insights to improve onboarding, customer engagement, and solution alignment to maximize retention and lifetime value.
Forecasting & Planning:
- Predictive Revenue Modeling: Build and maintain forecasting models that accurately predict growth and revenue from all sales channels.
- Forecast Accuracy: Refine forecasting methodologies to improve reliability and support strategic decision-making by executive leadership.
Increased Productivity:
- Sales & Marketing Enablement: Equip the Sales and Marketing teams with tools, reporting, and playbooks that increase efficiency and enable greater output from the same resources.
- Process Improvement: Streamline sales workflows and automate repetitive tasks to reduce friction and speed up deal cycles.
Faster Decision Making:
- Data-Driven Insights: Use internal CRM data, marketing analytics, and external benchmarks to inform sales strategy and guide tactical decisions.
- Reporting & Dashboards: Create and manage real-time dashboards and executive-level reporting on key sales metrics and trends.
Alignment & Systems:
- Cross-Channel Alignment: Ensure all sales channels—Inbound, Outbound, and CX-related sales—are working from unified processes, data, and tools.
- CRM & Tech Stack Management: Own the configuration, adoption, and administration of sales systems (e.g., Salesforce or HubSpot), ensuring clean data, proper integrations, and scalable workflows.
Qualifications
Required:
- 5+ years of experience in Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, or Sales Analytics within a B2B SaaS environment
- Track record of building and optimizing sales processes across both inbound and outbound motions
- Deep expertise in CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales enablement tools
- Experience with forecasting methodologies and pipeline analysis
- Strong analytical and Excel/Sheets skills; able to translate complex data into clear insights
- Familiarity with marketing automation systems such as HubSpot, Marketo, or Pardot
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Highly collaborative and comfortable working cross-functionally across Sales, Marketing, CX, and Finance
- Self-starter who takes ownership and drives projects from idea to implementation
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field
Preferred:
- Experience supporting sales teams selling into nonprofit, fintech, or B2B2C markets
- Salesforce Admin or HubSpot certification
- Familiarity with customer journey tools or lifecycle marketing platforms
- Experience with data visualization tools like Looker, Tableau, or Power BI
Compensation
$120,000 - $140,000
This position requires candidates that are located and legally authorized to work in the United States. Starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experiences, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. The current salary range for this position is $120,000–$140,000 USD per year plus an equity compensation package.
