About the role

We are looking for a highly energetic, driven professional to join our Sales team as a Business Development Representative in our downtown Tampa office. We are seeking candidates who are highly motivated and demonstrate tenacity as self-starters, with a strong drive to advance within the company.

What you'll do

  • Learn the ins and outs of a rapidly growing business.
  • You will have the opportunity to drive new business growth and fuel our expansion.
  • Create a great first impression with our prospects and customers by providing them with a world-class experience.
  • Partner with our experienced Account Executives to help fill their pipeline and develop your skills.
  • Maintain active engagement with new and existing leads through creative follow-up communications designed to increase customer interest in Harness products.
  • Research and build new and existing accounts (e.g., adding contacts, sending emails, strategic calling).
  • Conduct high-level conversations with senior executives in prospect accounts.
  • Achieve monthly quotas of qualified opportunities and closed business.

Qualifications

  • Proven track record of success in prospecting for new business.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Motivation, drive, and a self-starting attitude.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Ability to multitask, take initiative, prioritize, and manage time effectively.

$65,000 - $80,000 a year
This position requires candidates to be located and legally authorized to work in the United States. Starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experiences, qualifications, work location and market conditions. The current salary for this position is $40,000 USD per year with an on target earnings of $65,000-$80,000 per year.
