About the role
Are you a skilled technician with a passion for ensuring the safety and functionality of aircraft electronics? We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented FAA Repair Station Technician to join our team. You will play a crucial role in testing, troubleshooting, and repairing a diverse range of avionics equipment, including but not limited to:
● LED lighting
● Switches
● Touchscreens
● Cabin monitors
● Moving map systems
● Devices that stream movies to your phone
● Commercial aviation systems
● Passenger briefing units
As an FAA Repair Station Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing avionics systems utilizing approved instructions and drawings. Your expertise will contribute to our commitment to providing high-quality repairs that meet industry standards. You will work diligently to ensure that repaired units are returned to customers within a two-week timeframe.

What you'll do
● Conduct board level troubleshooting to identify and resolve electronic issues.
● Perform product testing to verify proper functionality after repairs.
● Execute product repairs using hand tools and specialized equipment.
● Utilize soldering and desoldering techniques to address electronic components.
● Read and interpret schematics to guide repair processes accurately.
● Maintain effective multitasking abilities to manage multiple repair projects.
● Record repair data and parts used on associated paperwork for documentation.
● Collaborate with co-workers and customers, demonstrating positive interpersonal skills.
● Adhere to strict quality standards and safety protocols.
