The Role: Nurse Practitioner — Healthcare Partnership Program

In this part-time NP role, you’ll be embedded onsite within one of our partner organizations to care for employees and their families through primary, preventive, and acute care.

Schedule details:

• Mondays & Wednesdays
• Start at 16 hours/week, with the potential to increase to 20 hours/week as patient demand grows
• Hourly pay: $50/hr
• Non-exempt position

This role is ideal for a Nurse Practitioner who values autonomy, proactive care, and meaningful patient relationships — all within a supportive, mission-driven clinical team.

What You’ll Do

• Provide advanced clinical support including acute and episodic care, primary preventive care, and chronic disease management
• Collaborate with HPP nurses on claims analysis
• Establish clinical pathways and treatment protocols
• Conduct telehealth visits as needed
• Coordinate care with patients’ external provider networks
• Act as a clinical consultant while upholding exceptional standards of care
• Maintain required licensure and certifications

What You Bring

Required Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Nursing (from an accredited program)
• Active, unrestricted Michigan RN license
• Active, unrestricted FNP certification (AANP or ANCC)
• Active Michigan NP Specialty Certification
• 2+ years of nursing experience (med-surg, ER, ICU, acute care, public health, school nursing, or outpatient preferred)
• BLS certification (AHA or Red Cross) within 90 days of hire

Preferred Qualifications

• DOT Examiner Certification (or willingness to train)
• Additional specialty certifications encouraged (Health Coaching, Case Management, Primary Care, Emergency/Hospital-based specialties, Women’s/Men’s Health, Sports Medicine)
