Nurse Practitioner - Onsite Clinic

Nurse Practitioner – Onsite Employee Clinic

Grand Rapids, MI | 24 hours/week | Benefits Eligible

Why This Role Is Different

This is not your traditional primary care.

You’ll work onsite inside a partner business, caring for a defined employee population — no revolving door of patients, no rushed visits, and no productivity-driven medicine.

This is an opportunity to step into a role early, build relationships with employees, and help shape how care is delivered onsite.

You’ll work with a consistent employee population — not a revolving door of patients — with time to focus on prevention, chronic care, and meaningful conversations.

What Your Days Actually Look Like

  • Fewer patients with longer appointment times
  • Cultivate genuine connections through ongoing, relationship‑based care with a steady patient population
  • Focus on health, wellness, and prevention — beyond same day or symptom-based visits
  • Manage chronic conditions thoughtfully, at a pace that support patient‑centered care
  • Work in a peaceful, private clinic space that supports holistic patient care

What You Won’t Be Dealing With

  • No insurance billing
  • No productivity quotas
  • No rushed 10–15 minute visits
  • No endless charting after hours

Schedule

Initial Schedule (0.6 FTE | ~24 hours/week):

  • Monday: 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM
  • Tuesday: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
  • Thursday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Future Growth:

  • Expanding to 4 days/week (~32 hours / 0.8 FTE) within approximately 6–9 months

What You’ll Be Responsible For

  • Providing comprehensive primary care (acute, chronic, preventive, proactive)
  • Completing physicals, wellness exams, lab draws, point‑of‑care testing, and more
  • Supporting employee wellness and long-term health goals
  • Collaborating with site leadership to plan and implement wellness initiatives
  • Coordinating care with outside providers when needed

This Role Is a Great Fit If…

You’re someone who brings a calm, steady presence, communicates well with a wide range of personalities, and enjoys building trust with patients over time. You’re comfortable working independently, listening well, and creating a space where people feel supported and cared for.
