Position Overview

Are you a natural connector with the drive to spark meaningful conversations? As a Sales Development Representative (SDR) on HealthBar’s fast-growing Sales and Marketing team, you will be a key part of our continued expansion across Michigan and new markets beyond.

In this hybrid role, you will own the front lines of growth. You will lead strategic outbound prospecting to build a strong pipeline and you will support a smooth and positive renewal experience for existing clients. Your work directly fuels HealthBar’s momentum as we scale, strengthen partnerships, and bring our direct-to-employer healthcare model to more organizations.

Essential Functions

Sales Development

  • Design and execute targeted outbound campaigns through phone, email, and LinkedIn to generate qualified meetings with HR leaders, CFOs, and other benefits decision-makers.
  • Research and identify accounts that align with our Ideal Customer Profile of 200 to 2,000 employees and an average deal value greater than 115,000 dollars.
  • Personalize outreach and engage prospects to schedule discovery calls for Healthcare Solutions Consultants, the CRO, and other team members.
  • Maintain accurate CRM data in HubSpot and ensure all assigned leads are consistently updated.

Renewals Coordination

  • Manage the renewal calendar and ensure timely communications with customers approaching renewal.
  • Send 90, 60, and 30 day renewal reminders and schedule renewal review meetings with Healthcare Solutions Consultants or Account Management.
  • Monitor renewal activity in HealthBar Hive and update status on all accounts.
  • Coordinate with Sales, Operations, and Finance to ensure contracts are created, sent, and completed on time.
  • Identify risks early and flag accounts that may require additional attention or support.

Required Qualifications

Core Skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication with a persuasive and professional tone.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
  • Comfort with technology and CRM tools. HubSpot experience is preferred.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to communicate verbally.

  • Ability to lift or carry up to 25 pounds occasionally.
  • Ability to operate a computer and other standard office or clinical tools.
  • Reliable transportation for occasional travel.
