Nurse Practitioner – Onsite Employer Clinic  

This is not your traditional primary care. 

You’ll work onsite inside a partner business, caring for a defined employee population — no revolving door of patients, no rushed visits, and no productivity-driven medicine. 

You’ll have time, autonomy, and support to practice the way you know is best and reconnect with why you chose this path.

• Fewer patients with longer appointment times

• Focus on health, wellness, and prevention — beyond same day or symptom-based visits 

• Manage chronic conditions thoughtfully, at a pace that support patient‑centered care

• An environment free of walk‑in chaos and overbooking pressure. 

What You Won’t Be Dealing With 

• No insurance billing 

• No productivity quotas 

• No rushed 10–15 minute visits 

• No endless charting after hours

What You’ll Be Responsible For 

• Providing comprehensive primary care (acute, chronic, preventive, proactive) 

• Completing physicals, wellness exams, lab draws, point‑of‑care testing, and more 

• Supporting employee wellness and long-term health goals 

• Collaborating with site leadership to plan and implement wellness initiatives 

• Coordinating care with outside providers when needed 

• Practicing independently while collaborating with the HealthBar clinical team 

• Maintaining licensure and required certifications 

We provide the framework, supplies, and team for you to feel supported, and with enough autonomy for you to make it your own. 

Pay & Schedule 

• $52–$60 per hour 

• Monday 10:00 – 6:00 PM 

• Wednesday 10:00 – 6:00 PM 

• Friday 10:00 – 6:00 PM

The (Necessary) Requirements 

We’d love to say everyone can apply — but there are a few credentials we do need you to have so we can practice safely and legally: 

• Master’s degree in Nursing from an accredited program 

• Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse and Nurse Practitioner license in the State of Michigan 

• Nurse Practitioner certification (AANP or ANCC): Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) 

• 2+ years of nursing experience (med-surg, ER, ICU, acute care, public health, school nursing, or outpatient experience preferred) 

• BLS certification (AHA or Red Cross) within 90 days of hire
