About Hearth

Hearth’s mission is to help small business owners in the trades build and grow successful companies. Hearth exists because while small businesses power much of the American economy, over 50% of contractors in the trades go bankrupt within five years. We are here to change that forever. Hearth’s purpose is to protect and empower small business owners while revolutionizing the fragmented $600B home services market with intuitive, powerful technology that makes it easy for Pros to build and grow profitable businesses.

Over the last seven years, we’ve built an all-in-one modern platform that makes it simple for SMB’s in home services to win more jobs and transition from paper and pen, that includes digital Estimates, Invoices, Contracts, Payments, Customer Financing, Lead Capture, and Client Management. In 2024, we powered over $3.4 Billion in jobs for over 10,000+ small business customers across the country, and we’re just getting started.

Hearth is a Series B vertical SaaS business backed by some of the world’s top VC’s (8VC, Human Capital, Founders Fund) including the same investors who backed SpaceX, Stripe, Palantir, Airbnb, Rippling, Affirm, Brex, and OpenAI. Our aim is to protect small business entrepreneurship and elevate America’s Pros and by redefining what is possible in running a home services business in today’s rapidly changing world.

To us, the home improvement contractor is a true embodiment of the American Dream – skilled craftspeople who choose to start their own business to build a better life for their families and their communities. Every individual on the 100+ person Hearth team envisions a future where every small business owner in the trades can succeed, despite not having a fancy pedigree, rich relatives, or special access. A future where millions of America’s Pros run on Hearth as the Operating System for Contractors, and in turn empower hundreds of millions of homeowners across the country.
