The Opportunity

We're seeking a rare breed of product leader - someone who can transform Hearth from a point solution into the definitive operating system powering America's small business ecosystem. This is more than a job. It's a career-defining opportunity to:

  • Accelerate significant business growth from $26M+ to $100M ARR 
  • Solve complex technical and business challenges at the intersection of SaaS and fintech
  • Make a significant impact on the survival and success of small businesses nationwide
  • Work directly with the CEO to shape company strategy

This role is for a true builder who sees beyond features - who understands that great products don't just solve problems, they unlock potential for entire communities of hardworking entrepreneurs.

What You’ll Do:

  1. Product Strategy & Execution
  • Own full product roadmap
  • Drive rapid iteration through customer feedback
  • Balance core product improvements with new capabilities
  1. Customer & Market Insights
  • Develop systematic feedback processes
  • Spend significant time understanding customer needs
  • Partner across Sales, Customer Success, and Engineering
  1. Team Leadership
  • Initially manage 1 Sr PM, QA lead, designer with team growth potential
  • Collaborate across functional teams, particularly with VP of Engineering
  • Report directly to CEO
  1. Metrics Ownership
  • Net Revenue Retention (NRR)
  • Net Promoter Score (NPS)
  • User Engagement
  • Gross Transaction Volume

Who You Are:

Background:

  • 4-8 years of product management experience
  • Strong technical foundation (CS degree or equivalent)
  • Experience scaling products through $20-100M ARR stage
  • Track record of shipping complex products users love

Preferred Experience:

  • Vertical SaaS companies serving SMBs
  • Embedded fintech products
  • Transitioning point solutions to platforms
  • Field service or contractor software

This role will be located in NYC along with the rest of the technical Hearth team, the CEO, and other key roles in the business. Hearth believes in the energy, connection, and serendipity of in-person/hybrid work culture (3+ days/week) for builders who are committed to building innovative software and making a significant positive impact in the world.

170,000 - 210,000 USD per year (New York)
