About the role
- This role is responsible for identifying and generating new business opportunities for our sales team. The Sales Development Representative plays a key role in prospecting, engaging potential customers, and setting up qualified meetings for Regional Sales Directors. This role is ideal for a self-motivated, results-driven individual looking to build a career in sales.
What you'll do
- Research and identify potential customers using various lead-generation techniques to build a strong pipeline.
- Qualify inbound leads by assessing potential customer fit based on company criteria.
- Schedule meetings and product demos for Regional Sales Directors to drive the sales process forward.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to refine outreach strategies and improve conversion rates.
- Maintain accurate CRM records by updating customer data and tracking all interactions.
- Stay informed on industry trends, company offerings, and competitors to position Heggerty’s solutions effectively.
- Close small-business deals and contribute to revenue growth by converting qualified leads into customers.
- Consistently meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales development targets.
Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred
- 1+ years of experience in sales, lead generation, or customer-facing roles preferred, but open to motivated entry-level candidates

- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
- Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) preferred
