Essential Functions

• Assist with completion of monthly bank reconciliations.
• Review and record revenue.
• Support and complete a variety of accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including entering in bills and invoices.
• Review and record all mortgage and utility payments.
• Assist with the maintenance and reconciliation of company balance sheet and general ledger accounts.
• Assist with cash flow needs by ensuring that outstanding balances owed to the management company are paid in a timely manner.
• Assist with monthly and quarterly financial reporting.
• Performing additional duties and completing special projects to assist the finance department on an as-needed basis.

Requisites

• 2-5 years experience with real estate accounting and financial reporting for US based companies (familiarity with GAAP and IRS).
• Command of the English language: written and verbal
• Experience with hospitality revenue accounting is a plus, but not required for candidates with a strong real estate accounting background. For example, experience with accounting involving platforms like Airbnb is a strong advantage for this position. 
• Experience using cloud based accounting software, experience using SAGE Intacct is a plus. 

Schedule & Compensation

This is a full time and fully remote role. Compensation for this position is based on a flat monthly rate and varies based on experience.
