Job Summary
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Prepare payable entries daily and process vendor weekly payments (check and electronic payments).
- Maintain aging AP & AR reports and reconciliation of third parties and intercompany payable transactions.
- Check daily cash balance.
- Ensure all billing invoices are posted accurately in SAP.
- Prepare revenue related entries in SAP.
- Complete daily bank reconciliations and download monthly bank statements.
- Resolve outstanding vendor accounts and items.
- Collaborate with an AP email inbox administrator to meet time sensitive deadlines.
- Administer Accounts Receivable email inbox and meet time sensitive deadlines.
- Prepare credit card journal entries.
- Assist with weekly cash management meetings.
- Collaborate with the Project Management team for vendor credit checks as needed.
- Support & assist with the issuance of annual 1099s, sales tax filings, property tax filings.
- Assist with Workman's Comp and General Liability Audits.
- Maintain and organize supporting documents for year-end audits.
- Ad hoc projects and or assignments as needed for Company.
Education and Experience:
- Two- or four-year degree in accounting and or finance.
- Equivalent working experience can be considered in lieu of a college degree.
- Experience working in SAP S4/Hana is preferred but not required
Skills and Qualifications:
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- A high degree of accuracy with great attention to detail
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to calculate and manage accounting figures and data
- Microsoft Excel and Outlook
- Basic intercompany accounting principles (preferred but not required)
- Understanding of complex company structures
- Works collaboratively with other departments
Working Conditions:
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period. Moderate noise (i.e. business office with computers, phone, and printers, light traffic).
The pay range for this role is:
60,000 - 65,000 USD per year (US - NC - Huntersville)
