What you'll do

• Team Leadership and Development:
  Manage, mentor, and coach a team of DevOps engineers to enhance their technical skills and career growth
  Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability within the DevOps team
  Set clear goals and performance expectations for the team, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
• DevOps Strategy and Execution:
  Establish and standardize DevOps best practices, tools, and processes across the organization
  Design, implement, and optimize CI/CD pipelines to streamline the development lifecycle and improve release quality
  Build and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) frameworks to support scalable and reliable environments.
• Cloud Engineering and Infrastructure Management:
  Leverage expertise in AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud to architect and manage multi-cloud solution
  Oversee the performance, availability, and security of cloud-based and on-premises infrastructure
  Implement robust monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to ensure the reliability of deployed applications.
• On-Premises Integration:
  Address unique challenges of delivering on-premises products, including deployment automation and operational support
  Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of on-premises and cloud-based solutions.
• Partnering with the Implementation Team:
  Collaborate closely with the Implementation Team to enable smooth delivery of products to customers.
  Develop tools and processes that simplify deployment, configuration, and maintenance of products in customer environments
  Ensure the Implementation Team has the necessary support, resources, and documentation to deliver high-quality experiences for customers.
• Collaboration and Stakeholder Management:
  Partner with engineering, product, and IT teams to align infrastructure and deployment strategies with business goals
  Act as the DevOps advocate, promoting collaboration and shared ownership of infrastructure and delivery processes.
• Continuous Improvement:
  Evaluate emerging tools and technologies to enhance DevOps capabilities and infrastructure efficiency
  Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize performance, reduce costs, and ensure scalability.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in managing and mentoring DevOps or infrastructure teams
• Extensive hands-on experience with Linux systems and cloud engineering
• Expertise in AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud platforms, including their services and best practices
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker), and orchestration tools (Kubernetes)
• Experience with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation
• Familiarity with delivering on-premises products and addressing associated challenges
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to handle complex infrastructure scenarios
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across multiple teams.

Nice to haves:

• Experience in multi-cloud strategies and hybrid cloud architectures
• Knowledge of security best practices in cloud and on-premises environments
• Proficiency in scripting and automation using Python, Bash, or similar languages
• Understanding of DevOps metrics and observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk).
