Position Overview
We’re hiring a Content Strategistto join a fast-growing marketing agency that specializes in video-forward content and digital advertising for blue-collar and local service businesses in the U.S. This isn’t your typical content calendar role—we’re looking for someone who thrives on transforming high-level marketing ideas into clear, actionable, and creative direction for a full in-house production team.

You’ll be the connective tissue between account managers and video/photography teams—taking campaign goals and translating them into detailed shoot plans, scripts, and briefs. You'll ensure the client’s voice and strategy show up clearly in the final content.

This role blends creative strategy, project coordination, and sharp communication skills. You'll be juggling 50+ client accounts and working closely with U.S.-based marketers and creatives.


Key Responsibilities

🎯 Creative Planning & Storyboarding

  • Work directly with account managers to interpret marketing strategy into video and shoot ideas
  • Write scripts, outlines, and video descriptions with hooks, CTAs, and strong positioning
  • Collaborate on creative briefs and ensure each piece of content matches client brand and campaign goals

📸 Content Production Coordination

  • Organize shot lists, visual references, and storyboards for monthly content shoots
  • Provide creative direction that aligns with campaign objectives (both organic and paid content)
  • Ensure the production team has everything they need to capture the right footage

🧠 Messaging & Copy Direction

  • Assist with social media copy and campaign messaging
  • Guide content variations for funnel stages (awareness, consideration, conversion)
  • Suggest visual storytelling formats (e.g., hook-led reels, before/after shots, talking heads, UGC-style snippets)

🧩 Project Management Support

  • Help maintain organized files and briefs in Notion
  • Collaborate with content editors and marketing leads to ensure post-production aligns with original strategy
  • Track deliverables, make feedback loops easier, and help keep shoots on schedule

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in content strategy, social media marketing, or creative project management
  • Experience working with creative teams (photographers, editors, or videographers)
  • Familiar with short-form video trends and what performs on Meta, IG Reels, and TikTok
  • Comfortable using project management tools like Notion, ClickUp, or Trello
  • Strong English communication and copywriting skills
  • Experience in an agency or with multiple brands at once is a big plus
