Role Overview
We are seeking a highly organized Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team. This role will focus on managing billing, collections, and customer accounts to ensure financial accuracy and smooth operations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and experienced in AR processes within a US-based business environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, send, and track client invoices on a timely basis.
- Apply payments (credit card, ACH, checks) to customer accounts accurately.
- Maintain and update the aging report to track outstanding balances.
- Manage AR-related email correspondence and resolve client billing inquiries.
- Organize and file invoices and supporting documentation in customer folders.
- Generate summaries and financial reports for management, including credit memos.
- Support supervisors and account managers with AR-related customer requests.
- Assist in monthly closing activities and ad hoc financial tasks.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in Accounts Receivable, Billing, or Accounting support roles.
- Strong understanding of invoicing, collections, and payment application.
- Proficiency with spreadsheets, accounting systems, and email management tools.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with QuickBooks, Xero, or other accounting software.
- Familiarity with working in a landscaping, construction, or service-based industry is a plus.
- Prior experience supporting US-based clients in a remote setting.
Work Schedule
- Full-time role, aligned with US business hours (night shift in PH).
- Monday to Friday, with flexibility around reporting deadlines.
