Hallmark Health Care Solutions, Inc (HHCS) is seeking a Senior Director Application Development to lead software development across internal development teams. This role reporting to Chief Delivery Officer, will provide technical leadership and coordination across development and maintenance of high availability, cloud-based systems supporting business while contributing to key areas of the platform.
HHCS is undergoing rapid growth and modernizing existing systems to improve scalability and performance while maintaining high availability. You will play a key role evolving our products as well as working with specialist teams to evaluate progress and plan technology integration with existing systems.
Job Role
This position requires a leader who is hands on and has a passion for delivering high end software and developing teams. Candidate will be responsible for managing the Application Development team, assuming various key roles including but not limited to Product Owner, Senior Engineer and Subject Matter Expert. This role will directly contribute to modernizing and maintaining proprietary web-based applications, as well as creating new software to meet business needs.

Required qualifications:
To be considered, your resume must include detail that demonstrates that you have the following experience or exhibited the following skills in a professional setting:
- Experience working in a fast-paced, agile environment, preferably in a high-growth technology company or startup.
- 15+ years of experience with at least 5 years as Senior Director or VP role
- 15+ years’ experience of professional software development using Microsoft framework and technologies, particularly Entity Framework, LINQ, Visual Studio, C#
- Experience in developing Microservices architecture applications using Azure PaaS, Azure IaaS, AKS and Azure DevOps
- Experience with .NET, HTML5, Angular 11+, JavaScript, jQuery
- Experience in documenting and defining road map of products
- Experience in delivering highly scalable and performance-oriented cloud applications
- Experienced in technical documentation of existing or new products
- Experience with Agile methodologies such as Scrum using JIRA, execution of projects of different sizes and complexities, and with multiple dependencies
- Knowledge of database programming, specifically Microsoft SQL
- Knowledgeable with Change Management Processes, Secure Coding Methodologies
- Experience setting standards for the improvement of application, team scalability, code-reuse, maintainability, security, and testing
- Strong business writing skills, with a demonstrated ability to drill down to the key points in a complex problem and clearly articulate the next steps
- Experience in a healthcare related development environment, particularly where you have taken on a significant role in the design, development, or overhaul of a system
- Experience managing onshore and offshore teams of application developers
Compensation range: Base salary $200k-210K ,10% yearly bonus target
