HHRD is a global humanitarian relief and development organization responding to human sufferings in emergency and disaster situations around the world. In addition to our emergency relief efforts in natural or man-made disasters, we also work on long term relief and development programs.

About the Role
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented UI/UX Designer who is passionate about creating seamless, user-friendly digital experiences. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of human-centered design principles and experience working on a range of digital products, including websites, mobile apps, and web applications. Creating and upkeeping responsive web design and content management are key to this role. You will collaborate closely with marketing and design teams but also at times program managers, developers, to translate complex ideas into intuitive, visually appealing interfaces.
What You'll Do
- Design and implement UI/UX solutions for web and mobile applications.
- Present innovative cutting-edge modules and widgets ideas for web
- Create and maintain web content on a variety of web page types while maintaining brand consistency
- Conduct user research, create personas, and define user flows to inform design decisions.
- Develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups that align with user needs and HHRD’s goals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure designs are implemented accurately.
- Conduct usability testing and gather feedback to refine designs and improve user experiences.
- Stay updated on UI/UX trends, best practices, and emerging technologies.
- Create and maintain a design system to ensure consistency across all digital platforms.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a UI/UX Designer with a portfolio showcasing your work.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar.
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and usability best practices.
- Experience in creating wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs.
- Familiarity with front-end development (DNN,HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of content management systems (CMS)
Preferred Qualifications
- Degree or qualification in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
- Experience working in an Agile environment.
- Understanding of responsive and mobile-first design principles.
- Non-profit industry knowledge/experience is a plus
