Job description – CR – Sr. Claims Resolution Specialist 

ABOUT THE POSITION 

The Copyright Division at Higbee & Associates is responsible for representing some of the world's most renowned photographers and top news agencies. Claims Resolution Specialists will work with attorneys to assist in pre-litigation settlement negotiations and communicate with our clients throughout the pre-litigation process. 

Role in Law Firm Mission: 

The Claims Resolution Specialist will be responsible for helping attorneys to protect our clients’ intellectual property rights while maintaining the great reputation of professionalism for the law firm as a whole. 

Key Specific Duties: 

• Correspond with opposing parties and attorneys via e-mail, telephone, and postal mail 

• Provide above and beyond customer support to clients 

• Update clients on the status of their cases 

• Prepare all documents necessary for settlement 

• Maintain task lists and procedures 

• Miscellaneous tasks, including mail, emails, and voicemails 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: 

• Strong research, written, and verbal communication skills 

• Be organized, detail-oriented, and able to work well under pressure and deadlines 

• Be able to multitask and interact with others professionally 

• Be able to take initiative and work as part of a team 

• Ability to navigate web pages and work with web links including saving important information from various websites. 

COMPENSATION: 

• $25 per hour for the first 3 months during the training period. 

• Starting at month 4, $18 per hour plus monthly bonuses ranging between $500-$8000+ per month.  

• A successful Claims Resolution Specialist can make upwards of $100,000 per year. 

• A high performing Claims Resolution can make upwards of $130,000 per year.
