About the role
We are looking for a hands-on GTM Systems & AI Automation Engineer to build the commercial operating system that powers pipeline generation.
This is not a traditional Revenue Operations role. You won't be coordinating projects or writing requirements for Engineering—you'll personally design, build, deploy, and improve the systems that help our sales team identify buying signals, prioritize accounts, automate execution, and generate pipeline.
You'll own HubSpot as our commercial system of record while building AI-powered workflows across our GTM stack, including Clay, HubSpot, AI platforms, APIs, and outbound automation tools.
If you enjoy building more than managing, you'll thrive here.
Your Impact
Pipeline Generation Systems
- Build automated buying-signal engines that identify active opportunities including product launches, hiring, executive changes, retailer expansion, manufacturing investments, and other commercial triggers.
- Design AI-powered workflows for account research, enrichment, prioritization, messaging, and outbound execution.
- Build and optimize outbound infrastructure including sequencing, deliverability, and multichannel automation.
- Measure signal-to-meeting conversion and continuously improve commercial performance.
- Eliminate manual work through intelligent automation.
GTM Systems Engineering
- Architect and maintain integrations across HubSpot, Clay, AI platforms, enrichment providers, and the GTM technology stack.
- Build APIs, webhooks, and automation that eliminate manual processes.
- Own HubSpot architecture including workflows, custom objects, automation, routing, and lifecycle management.
- Build scalable territory assignment and account prioritization systems.
- Continuously improve seller productivity through thoughtful systems design.
AI & Automation
- Build production AI workflows that automate research, qualification, personalization, account summaries, and sales execution.
- Deploy AI responsibly with testing, monitoring, and quality controls.
- Continuously identify opportunities to replace manual work with automation.
Process Optimization
- Simplify commercial processes through automation.
- Build documentation and repeatable playbooks for every production workflow.
- Partner with Sales, Marketing, Product, and Engineering to deliver scalable GTM infrastructure.
About You
- 5+ years building GTM systems, Growth Engineering, Revenue Engineering, Marketing Operations, or Sales Operations within a high-growth B2B SaaS company.
- Expert-level HubSpot experience including workflows, APIs, custom objects, and automation.
- Strong experience with APIs, webhooks, SQL, AI platforms, and modern GTM technologies.
- Hands-on experience building production automation rather than managing vendors.
- Strong systems thinker with a bias toward execution.
- Comfortable owning projects from concept through deployment.
- Self-starter who thrives with autonomy and ambiguity.
Our Ideal Candidate has:
- Early GTM systems hire at a Series A or Series B SaaS company.
- Built outbound infrastructure and pipeline generation systems from scratch.
- Experience with HubSpot, Clay, AI platforms, enrichment tools, and modern outbound technologies.
- Technical background in software engineering, analytics engineering, or systems engineering preferred.
- Passionate about AI, automation, and continuous improvement.
Benefits
- Health insurance (medical, dental, vision) with 100% of employee premiums covered
- Unlimited PTO
- Flexible, remote WFH culture
- Access to the iconic Hearst Tower & its facilities in NYC (should you choose to ever be in person)
- Based on previous experience and skillset, the starting base salary range for this position: $135,000 - $160,000
