At Zoelife Psychiatric Services, we believe that effective mental health care should be accessible, compassionate, and deeply rooted in community support. As a dedicated outpatient clinic, we specialize in providing high-quality psychiatric care and therapeutic services that allow clients to receive intensive treatment while maintaining their daily lives at home, school, and work.
We understand that mental health journeys are unique. That is why our clinic offers a continuum of outpatient care designed to meet clients where they are—whether that means weekly therapy, medication management, or more structured support through our Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP). Our multidisciplinary team of nurse practitioners and licensed therapists works collaboratively to treat complex mental health conditions, with a special focus on adolescents and families navigating challenges such as depression, anxiety, trauma, and self-injurious behaviors.
- Provide individual therapy to adolescents enrolled in the Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP).
- Conduct biopsychosocial and risk assessments; evaluate and respond to self-injurious behavior (SIB) and suicidal ideation (SI) using evidence-based safety planning and crisis protocols.
- Develop, implement, and routinely update individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
- Establish and maintain a safe, supportive, and engaging therapeutic environment where teens can process emotions, build insight, and practice coping skills.
- Provide family psychoeducation, coaching, and support to strengthen caregiver involvement and reinforce treatment goals at home.
- Coordinate care through case management, including referrals, collaboration with schools/providers, and linkage to community resources to support continuity of care.
- Participate in treatment team meetings, case consultations, supervision, and ongoing professional development.
- Complete accurate, timely clinical documentation (assessments, progress notes, treatment plans, discharge planning) in accordance with program policies and regulatory requirements.
