POSITION SUMMARY  

HomeWAV is searching for a motivated, goal-oriented Project Coordinator to join our team. This role will own and manage the implementation framework — ordering and coordinating tasks between customers, third-party service providers, ISPs, installers, technicians, and cross-functional internal teams — to ensure that we meet our contractually committed installation dates. A successful Project Coordinator will be a good communicator, proactive, detail-oriented, well organized, and thrive in an ever changing, trailblazing company atmosphere. 


RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Ensure that all aspects of a project are organized and in conformance with timeline and deliverables requirements. 
  • Develop and maintain project performance database that tracks overall progress and achievement of milestones. 
  • Assign and monitor resources effectively to boost project efficiency and maximize deliverables output. 
  • Report project risks and outcomes to appropriate management channels and escalate issues according to project work plan. 
  • Serve as a point of communication between company teams and external resources. 
  • Deepen partnerships with outside resources, including third-party vendors. 
  • Participate in project design meetings and propose improvements if necessary. 
  • Evaluate potential problems and technical hitches and develop solutions. 
  • Plan and manage team goals, project schedules and new information. 
  • Supervise current projects and coordinate all team members to keep workflow on track. 
  • Manage project-related paperwork by ensuring all necessary materials are current, properly filed and stored. 
  • Direct project correspondence by preparing and reviewing project proposals, memos, meeting minutes and emails. 
  • Communicate with clients to identify and define project requirements, scope and objectives. 
  • Adhere to budget by monitoring expenses and implementing cost-saving measures. 

 

REQUIREMENTS FOR PROJECT COORDINATOR 

  • Exceptional initiative, organizational, and execution abilities. 
  • Outstanding communication and user empathy skills. 
  • Aptitude for independent analytical thinking, problem solving, and data-driven decision making. 
  • Previous experience in installing or managing installation of telecommunication systems preferred. 
  • Demonstrated experience in a customer facing role. 
  • Willingness for some business travel and to perform job duties inside of a correctional facility. 
  • Experience reading, understanding, and meeting contractual obligations. 
  • Must be able to overcome obstacles, meet schedules, and work under pressure.  
  • Must possess exceptional verbal and written communications skills.  
  • Must possess and demonstrate critical thinking, organization, and time management skills. 
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office, and JIRA, preferred. 
  • Showcase good interpersonal skills for customer relations. 
  • Familiar with the B2G market is a plus. 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES 

  • Strong understanding of project coordination principles, including scheduling, resource management, and progress tracking. 
  • Working knowledge of telecommunication systems installation and management (preferred). 
  • Excellent customer service, with the ability to interact effectively in a client-facing environment. 
  • Familiarity with business-to-government (B2G) operations is a plus. 
  • Ability to read, interpret, and meet contractual obligations and performance standards. 
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions. 
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities. 
  • Strong organizational, time management, and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and perform under pressure.  


EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, complementary field, or related experience.  
  • 1–3 years of experience in project coordination or management, preferably in telecommunications, IT, or another technical, customer-facing environment. 
  • Experience working with contracts or in government-related projects preferred. 
  • Professional certifications such as CAPM, PMP, or CompTIA Project+ are beneficial but not required.
