Job Description: Senior Account Executive at Waggon
Waggon, a leading 3PL freight brokerage, is seeking a motivated and experienced Senior Account Executive to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in driving revenue growth and ensuring customer satisfaction. As a Senior Account Executive, you will be responsible for generating and maintaining a monthly gross profit of at least $30,000. Your primary duties will include making 50 cold calls per day to prospective clients and developing long-term relationships with key accounts.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Achieve a minimum of $20,000 in gross profit per month through sales and account management activities.
2. Conduct 50 cold calls daily to identify and secure new business opportunities.
3. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional service and support.
4. Utilize SalesForce for managing customer relationships, tracking sales activities, and reporting.
5. Leverage Slack for internal communication and collaboration with team members.
6. Collaborate with the carrier sales team to ensure timely and efficient transportation solutions.
7. Provide detailed quotes and negotiate rates with clients to secure profitable business deals.
8. Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.
9. Prepare and deliver presentations to prospective clients, showcasing Waggon’s services and value proposition.
10. Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions in the CRM system.
Requirements:
1. A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, with some exceptions made for candidates with exceptional skills or circumstances.
2. Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
3. Willingness and ability to make 50 cold calls per day to generate new business.
4. Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
5. Ability to work remotely and manage time effectively to meet deadlines and targets.
Preferred Capabilities:
1. Experience using SalesForce for CRM and sales management.
2. Familiarity with Slack for team communication and collaboration.
3. Previous experience in carrier sales or account management within the transportation or logistics industry.
4. A college degree in business, logistics, or a related field.
