About HqO

HqO exists to drive economic prosperity in cities by transforming commercial real estate.

Our Real Estate Experience (REX) platform transforms buildings into adaptive platforms that empower people. The REX Platform is the operating system for experiential real estate—connecting owners, operators, and tenants through technology that enhances how people interact with spaces.

Our BHAG (Big Hairy Audacious Goal) is simple: to be the largest global commercial real estate company.

Our vision is a future where every city becomes a Quantum City—intelligent, experience-driven urban systems that unlock human and economic potential at scale.

An AI-First Product Culture

HqO’s advantage sits at the intersection of people, places, and data. With an unmatched dataset on how humans use real estate, we’re building products that apply AI to generate real, actionable insights—helping owners and operators drive better returns and experiences.

We’ve already released our first in-product agent and are expanding this capability across our platform. Internally, we work AI-first: every PM and designer has unlimited access to best-in-class AI tools (ChatGPT, Cursor, and many others) to accelerate research, strategy, and execution. AI isn’t an add-on here—it’s part of how we think, build, and learn every day.

The Job (a.k.a. The Opportunity)

You'll join us as a Product Manager focused on User Workflows and Mobile Access Management—a role blending product leadership, strategic thinking, and deep user empathy. Your mission will be to ensure that users move seamlessly through physical spaces using our innovative mobile access solutions.

You'll define clear product strategies, collaborate closely with engineering, design, and customer-facing teams, and drive the delivery of impactful product outcomes. You’ll do this in an environment where AI is a core tool and differentiator—leveraging advanced data and AI-driven insights to guide product strategy and user experience decisions.

This role is part of a new, two-role structure designed for maximum impact. While you'll focus on product vision, strategy, and execution, you'll partner closely with our dedicated Field Implementation & Support Lead, who will handle in-market deployments, customer onboarding, and day-to-day operational support. Together, you'll create an unbeatable team that delivers exceptional user experiences and business results.

What you'll do

  • Define and execute a compelling product roadmap that delivers measurable customer and business outcomes.
  • Become a domain expert in mobile access technology. While prior experience isn't required, a willingness and eagerness to quickly become deeply knowledgeable is essential.
  • Track and analyze key user engagement metrics to continuously refine your product and improve user experiences.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering and UX teams to ensure timely delivery of high-quality software solutions.
  • Develop strong, collaborative relationships across the organization, ensuring stakeholder alignment and clarity of vision.
  • Actively gather and synthesize user feedback, using data-driven insights to make informed decisions about feature prioritization and product improvements.
  • Harness AI and data analysis tools to uncover user patterns and inform product decisions.
  • Partner with data science and engineering teams to integrate AI capabilities that enhance user workflows and create intelligent, predictive product experiences.

Attributes we are looking for

  • A highly curious, adaptive learner who thrives in ambiguity and rapidly changing environments.
  • Strong product instincts and a genuine passion for creating exceptional user experiences.
  • Proven ability to translate complex ideas into clear, impactful strategies and actions.
  • Effective communicator, comfortable working across all levels of the organization and translating between technical and business stakeholders.
  • Relentless drive to deliver results, with demonstrated ownership and accountability.
  • Alignment with our core values: Learning, Excellence, Truth, Service, Goodness, and Ownership.

What you bring

  • 5+ years of product management experience, ideally in a software company or fast-paced product environment.
  • Evidence of having released products and delivered meaningful outcomes. The Product Manager should be able to clearly articulate what was built, why it mattered, and how it performed.
  • Experience working in enterprise SaaS is preferred, but we’re open to strong B2B or B2C candidates who bring the right product instincts and maturity.
  • Expertise in user management or mobile access is preferred. We’re realistic: we care more about your ability to learn quickly than your résumé keywords.
  • Proven experience working closely with engineering and UX/design teams, ideally in agile or iterative environments. The Product Manager needs to speak fluently about collaboration and how they’ve successfully balanced competing priorities to deliver great products.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills, including experience creating clear, compelling product documentation, roadmap updates, and internal/external communications.
  • Demonstrated experience defining and tracking product success metrics such as DAU/MAU, adoption rates, or conversion rates, including the knowledge of how to measure what matters and why.
  • Experience collaborating with distributed teams and customers.  It is important that the Product Manager enjoys being in the office and can tell us exactly why in-person collaboration makes work better.
  • Evidence of deep curiosity, adaptability, and rapid learning, especially in unfamiliar domains.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 30%, including international travel to the EU to spend time with customers, partners, and teammates in-market.
  • At HqO, we believe exceptional talent isn't solely defined by experience or traditional metrics and we seek individuals with insatiable curiosity, a high degree of personal agency, adaptability, persistence, and openness to feedback.
