About the role

We’re hiring an Account Manager to join our GTM team in Boston or New York. This role reports to the Managing Director and follows our hybrid work model, with in-office collaboration at least three days per week (Tuesday–Thursday).

As an Account Manager, you will own a defined portfolio of Tier 2 and Tier 3 accounts, ensuring smooth renewals, consistent engagement, and targeted upsell opportunities within existing contracts. You’ll focus on maintaining strong relationships at the working-team and director level, ensuring customers see measurable value from HqO and fully adopt the platform across their portfolio.

You’ll partner closely with Customer Success, Sales, and Product to support customer outcomes and help maintain predictable retention and revenue growth. This role is ideal for someone who is customer-centric, organized, communicative, and eager to deepen their commercial skill set within a fast-paced environment.


What you'll do

Manage Renewals & Identify Upsell Opportunities

  • Own the renewal process for your account portfolio, ensuring on-time completion and high retention.
  • Identify relevant upsell opportunities based on product usage, customer goals, and market needs.

Build Strong Working Relationships

  • Develop and maintain relationships with mid-level stakeholders, property teams, and operational leaders.
  • Serve as a reliable commercial partner who understands customer workflows, priorities, and success metrics.

Ensure Value Realization

  • Lead recurring check-ins and periodic business reviews to highlight adoption, usage trends, and ROI.
  • Work with Customer Success to ensure customers are fully supported and engaged across their portfolio.

Collaborate Cross-Functionally

  • Partner with CS, AEs, and Product to build coordinated account plans and maintain proactive customer engagement.
  • Share customer feedback and insights that help refine feature development, messaging, and service improvements.

Maintain Accurate Pipeline & Forecasting

  • Track renewal and upsell pipelines in HubSpot and ensure all contract and customer data is accurate.
  • Collaborate with Finance and Legal on pricing, terms, and agreement execution.

Support Advocacy & Engagement

  • Identify satisfied customers who can serve as references, provide testimonials, or participate in marketing initiatives.
  • Strengthen HqO’s presence across your accounts and in the broader CRE community.

What you bring

  • 3–5 years of account management or customer-facing experience, ideally in SaaS, PropTech, or real estate technology.
  • Strong relationship management skills with experience supporting a large or diverse account portfolio.
  • Proven ability to meet or exceed renewal and upsell targets.
  • Clear and confident communication skills with the ability to run effective check-ins and business reviews.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and comfort managing multiple accounts simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms (HubSpot preferred).
  • A proactive, collaborative mindset with a strong desire to help customers succeed and grow their use of HqO.

Pay & Benefits

The compensation range below includes base salary and bonus or on-target incentive compensation, if applicable. The range reflects HqO’s reasonable, good-faith estimate of what the company expects to pay for this role at the time of posting.

Range: $179,500-$192,500

Actual compensation will vary based on factors such as skills, experience, and qualifications. In addition to cash compensation, HqO employees are eligible for equity and comprehensive benefits.
