Position Overview:
As a Civil Engineering Intern at JBPro, you will support our civil engineering projects by focusing on design, permitting, and project coordination. You’ll work alongside experienced Design Engineers and Project Managers, gaining practical experience in project execution. Depending on project needs, you’ll report to either the Design Engineer or Project Manager, ensuring effective collaboration and contributing to the successful delivery of client projects.
This internship is ideal for students who are recent graduates or graduating in 2024 or Spring 2025 and are eager to explore a career in Civil Engineering. JBPro will provide you with the resources to develop your skills and discover your potential. You’ll have the opportunity to contribute to diverse projects, helping shape the growth and development of North Florida’s infrastructure.
What You’ll Do:
Utilize AutoCAD to prepare construction drawings.
Assist Design Engineers and Project Managers with tasks such as utilities, grading, and drainage design.
Prepare and submit applications to regulatory authorities.
Conduct fieldwork by visiting bus stops to measure existing conditions, then collaborate with the team to compile recommendations for compliance and contribute to a detailed report, with most fieldwork scheduled for the fall and spring seasons.
What You’ll Need:
Pursuing a bachelor's degree in civil engineering
Experience with CAD software preferred.
