What You’ll Do:
Provide comprehensive engineering design support to the Design Engineer, encompassing utilities, grading, drainage, detailed notes, specifications, and construction drawings.
Conduct thorough stormwater calculations and modeling for design purposes.
Actively participate in project coordination meetings, as necessary.
Research files, documents, drawings, surveys, permits, etc.
Use AutoCAD drafting software for projects.
Execute administrative tasks for projects, including copying, printing, scanning, posting signs, and managing deliveries.
Collaborate effectively with engineers, technicians, and interns assigned to the project.
Adhere to project deadlines, ensuring timely project completion.
Facilitate agency coordination and maintain clear communication.
Prepare applications, forms, fees, and other documents for project submittals.
Engage in client coordination under the guidance of the Design Engineer or Project Manager, including the organization and distribution of drawings and files.
Coordinate with sub-consultants and related companies, (e.g., geotechnical, architecture, landscape architecture, lighting) involved in JBPro projects as directed.
Coordinate efforts with JBPro's surveying department on joint surveying and engineering projects.
What You’ll Need:
Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related field.
Ideal for candidates with 0-3 years of experience.
Preferred: EI Certificate demonstrating commitment to professional growth.
Proficiency in CAD software required, with preference for AutoCAD expertise.
