Cybersecurity & IT Infrastructure Project Manager


The Cybersecurity & IT Infrastructure Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the quality, schedule, and delivery of complex cybersecurity and IT initiatives. This role requires strong project management skills, technical fluency with IT infrastructure solutions, and the ability to manage cross-functional teams supporting civilian and government programs. The Project Manager will leverage Microsoft Project, SharePoint, and JIRA to track scope, milestones, and deliverables while ensuring adherence to project management best practices. The ideal candidate will bring experience managing cybersecurity and IT infrastructure projects, including migrations such as Ivanti HEAT to ServiceNow.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the planning, execution, and delivery of cybersecurity and IT infrastructure projects within scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Apply PMI’s Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK v7 or later) standards and practices.
  • Track project milestones, scope, risks, and dependencies using Microsoft Project and other tools.
  • Lead cross-functional teams and coordinate stakeholders across large civilian or government programs.
  • Ensure effective collaboration using SharePoint, JIRA, and other project management platforms.
  • Provide technical leadership for IT infrastructure initiatives, including system migrations and enterprise tool transformations.
  • Oversee risk management and reporting, ensuring compliance with organizational and contractual requirements.

Required Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 4 years of project management–related experience, including at least 2 years as a Project Manager supporting a large civilian or governmental program.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience using Microsoft Project, SharePoint, and other project management tools.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience managing projects with PMBOK v7 or later.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience managing cybersecurity projects.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience managing information technology projects.
  • Technical fluency with IT infrastructure solutions, with proven ability to independently lead projects such as migrations from Ivanti HEAT to ServiceNow or similar enterprise initiatives.
  • Hands-on experience with the following technologies: Ivanti HEAT, ServiceNow, Microsoft Project, JIRA.
  • Active Public Trust Clearance and/or clearable for a Government Security Clearance.

Required Certifications:

  • PMP (Project Management Professional) certification (must be able to obtain within 6 months of start date).
