Crystal City, VA / remote in National Capitol Area 

 

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Program Manager III to support the Host and Compute Center (HaC) in the successful execution of its program office operations. This role is integral to the management and delivery of a modern enterprise cloud services solution, ensuring the smooth operation of the Joint Warfighting Cloud Capability (JWCC) Program Management Office (PMO) and other HaC activities. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of technical acumen and professional expertise to oversee various support functions, from business operations to program execution. 

 

Key Responsibilities: 

 

Business Operations and Leadership Support: 

  • Provide comprehensive support for HaC activities, including strategic planning, execution, and management of operational processes and initiatives. 

  • Assist in optimizing operational processes, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing strategies to enhance efficiency and productivity. 

  • Manage budgets, resources, and coordinate projects, ensuring alignment with leadership priorities and effective day-to-day operations. 

  • Engage with users to gather feedback and ensure their needs are addressed effectively. 

  • Support the execution of program activities, ensuring alignment with HaC’s strategic vision and objectives. 

  • Serve as the primary administrative point of contact, coordinating tasks, scheduling, and ensuring timely completion of responsibilities. 

Engineering and Technical Support: 

  • Support the delivery and execution of modern enterprise cloud services solutions, collaborating with technical teams to ensure alignment with JWCC PMO objectives. 

  • Oversee engineering support and integration, ensuring technical solutions meet operational requirements. 

  • Collaborate with security engineering teams to support the development and implementation of Risk Management Framework (RMF). 

  • Ensure compliance with DoD and DISA regulations, mandates, standards, policies, and guidelines. 

Administrative and Coordination Duties: 

  • Arrange and manage meetings, conferences, and video-teleconferencing, including drafting agendas, taking minutes, and operating audiovisual equipment. 

  • Oversee correspondence actions, including formal letters, memoranda, and senior leadership reports. 

  • Prepare briefings, multimedia presentations, and informational packages to support effective communication. 

  • Organize and maintain the electronic document repository for easy access and retrieval of important documents. 

  • Support the planning and execution of strategic team sessions and offsite events. 

  • Recommend and maintain modern tools to enhance program office management. 

 

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field 

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in program management or a related role, with a proven track record of success. 

  • Active project management certification from the Project Management Institute (to include PMP, PMP-PBA, or any of the PMP specializations). 

  • Active DoD Top Secret / Top Secret with SCI Eligbility Clearance. 

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience within a federal government PMO.  

  • Strong organizational, coordination, and leadership skills. 

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities. 

  • Experience with budget management, resource allocation, and cloud services solutions. 

  • Familiarity with security engineering, RMF support, and office automation systems. 

  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality. 

  • Proficiency with modern office tools and technology.
