Responsibilities:

• Collaborate cross functionally with other departments (Product, Development, Support, Customer Success, Sales, and Training) to
• • Collect and document findings of user research from feedback sessions (cross departmentally and direct from customers) and any usability testing performed.
  • Gain knowledge of user’s needs and translate them into user mapping, process flows, Figma designs, and prototypes using a data driven approach. 
  • Share and communicate actionable design ideas with appropriate stakeholders
• Conduct pre-production reviews and inspection of UI design when necessary.
• Maintain a source document within confluence for style guides to enable developers to work efficiently when it comes to best practices.
• Stay up to date with UI/UX design trends and topics. 
• Collaborate with developers on hand offs of designs to ensure accuracy in product design.
• Develop wireframes, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups.
• Work with product teams to fully understand the product family, various end user audiences and their challenges to deliver new solutions and features.
• Be an advocate for the user.

Research

• Work closely with product managers, engineers, customer support, sales, training, and account managers to identify research topics to investigate, and design ways to explore them. 
• Work with existing data to develop and update user journey/experience maps, and personas that can be used to drive UX and product. enhancements. Also to translate data insights into actionable designs.
• Understand customers and their needs through customer research and feedback, and market analysis.
• Communicate ideas and recommendations to stakeholders using user flow diagrams, research summaries, and research briefs.

Design

• Maintain Design Library to ensure that visual design is consistent with ICANotes’ tone and image. 
• Develop wireframes, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups.
• Partner closely with developers, QA, and product managers to rapidly iterate on designs based on user feedback, tech constraints, and business requirements.
• Participate in the product development process from definition through design, build, test, release, and maintenance.
• Work with product teams to fully understand the product family, various end user audiences and their challenges to deliver new solutions and features.
• Be an advocate for the user.

Qualifications:

• Strong communicator, verbal and written. 
• Experience with Figma and other design tools (prototyping tools) to generate high-fidelity mock ups and designs. 
• Be able to clearly communicate design concepts to stakeholders.
• Basic understanding of class style sheets and the importance of style guide governance. 
• Ability to work with all levels of the organization. 
• Manage multiple projects and realign priorities as needed independently to match product and organizational needs. 
• Effectively manage UX research/strategy and UX Design as concurrent priorities. 
• Experience with EHR/PMs or EMR/PMs.
