Ice Castles is an awe-inspiring, must-see winter phenomenon that brings fairytales to life. The frozen attractions are located in cities across North America. Ice Castles is built entirely by hand using hundreds of thousands of icicles hand-placed by professional ice artists. The castles include breathtaking LED-lit sculptures, frozen thrones, ice-carved tunnels, slides, and fountains.

The Parking Supervisor is responsible for the management of 3-5 parking attendants to execute the parking operations and direct guests to the box office during Ice Castles operational hours. The guest experience begins at the moment they drive into our parking lot and encounter our staff.  The overall objective is to create a smooth and easy process for Ice Castle guests to park..  Specific responsibilities include the following:


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Direct vehicles and guests as they enter Ice Castles parking lot with a friendly, safe and positive experience.
  • Supports the Event Manager with hiring, training and management of parking crew.
  • Supervise assigned operations related to parking space/lot control, including provision of appropriate staff appearance and equipment; and handling special parking projects as required.
  • Scheduling and managing employees including rotations and breaks.
  • Execute a parking plan
  • Direct motorists/guests to parking areas or parking spaces, using hand signals or traffic control lights.
  • Patrol parking areas in order to prevent vehicle damage and vehicle or property thefts.
  • Communicate parking challenges and proposed solutions with Event Manager
  • Maintain pathways and parking lot and address spots that need snow removal or sand/salt.
  • Ensure the Ice Castles parking area is operating in accordance with company policy, including; safe conditions, equipment maintenance, proper and accurate signage and guest experience standards.
  • Responsible for monitoring, procurement, and installation of all parking/traffic signs and parking cones.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by Event Manager.


HOURS: Full time hours from early December through end of the season. Must be able to work evenings and weekends. Earlier start times may be available.  


JOB REQUIREMENTS:  Ability to stand for extended periods.  Must be able to respond to emergency situations. Employees must regularly lift and/or move up to 15 pounds.


PAY: Starting at $21 per hour. Bonus of up to $750
