Ice Castles is an awe-inspiring, must-see winter phenomenon that brings fairytales to life. The frozen attraction is located in cities across North America. Ice Castles is built entirely by hand using hundreds of thousands of icicles hand-placed by professional ice artists. The castles include breathtaking LED-lit sculptures, frozen thrones, ice-carved tunnels, slides, and fountains.

The Castle Supervisor is responsible for the management of 8-10 staff to execute the operations inside of the Ice Castle. The overall objective is to lead the Castle Crew in creating a safe, fun and unique experience for guests visiting the Ice Castle. Specific responsibilities include the following:


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Help Event Managers to with event set up prior to opening day. 
  • Support managers with the hiring and training of all Event Staff.
  • Assist managers in conducting a daily pre-shift to designate daily rotations and inform employees of any operational updates.
  • Supervise Castle operations by ensuring staff follow company rules and regulations, complete assigned rotations, interact appropriately with guests, complete their daily tasks and take necessary breaks.
  • Lead Castle Crew with a positive and enthusiastic approach in all aspects of guest interaction at all times so as to set an example. 
  • Ensure the Castle Crew operates in accordance with company policies, including; safe conditions, equipment maintenance, and site appearance standards.
  • Actively encourage and support new and innovative ideas from all team members on how to improve the team’s operations.
  • Collaborate with other Supervisors daily to ensure the overall operation of the event runs smoothly. 
  • Communicate operational challenges and employee-related issues, along with proposed solutions, to Event Managers.



HOURS: Part time hours starting at the beginning of December. Full time hours from the beginning of December through the end of the season.  Must be able to work evenings and weekends.  


JOB REQUIREMENTS:  Required to work outside with various weather conditions.  Ability to stand for extended periods.  Must be able to respond to emergency situations. Employees must regularly lift and/or move up to 15 pounds.


PAY: $21 per hour
