About the role

The Application Product Owner will take ownership of key internal applications, such as HubSpot, Kantata, and other platforms critical to our business operations. This role is not defined by a single application but by the ability to ensure our suite of internal systems aligns with business strategy, enhances operational efficiency, and supports our company’s overall goals.

As a bridge between the operations team, IT, and key stakeholders, you will ensure that the application features meet both the technical and operational needs of the business.  Additionally, you will drive process improvements, workflow automation, and service delivery optimization.

This is a hybrid role.

How You Will Make an Impact:

    • Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to understand business needs and align internal application features with business objectives.
    • Analyze current operational workflows, identify inefficiencies, and translate these into system requirements for enhancements and new functionalities.
    • Collaborate with operations teams to identify and prioritize application features that optimize workflows, automate manual processes, and improve service efficiency.
    • Lead the design, implementation, and management of workflow automations to improve efficiency and reduce manual tasks.
    • Serve as the main point of contact for managing the operational aspects of key applications like HubSpot, Kantata, and other systems.
    • Partner with IT teams to ensure systems integrations, updates, and changes are seamless and meet technical standards.
    • Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to provide insights into system performance and business metrics.
    • Identify opportunities for process automation and system improvements to drive business growth.
    • Provide support and training to users to ensure they can fully utilize the internal applications to their fullest potential.
    • Manage relationships with external vendors and partners for ongoing application support.
    • Stay updated on industry trends and technological advancements to propose future application improvements that enhance service delivery and operational excellence.

What You'll Have:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management, Information Technology, or a related field.
    • 3-5 years of experience in a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or similar role with a focus on operations, preferably within a professional services or operational environment.
    • Strong understanding of operational workflows, resource management, and process optimization within professional services.
    • Experience with Agile methodologies and practical experience working in Scrum or Kanban environments.
    • Excellent problem-solving skills and a data-driven mindset.
    • Hands-on experience with project management and operational tools (e.g., ERP systems, workflow management software).
    • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with a focus on internal operations.
    • Familiarity with resource planning, scheduling tools, and service delivery platforms.
    • Proven experience managing enterprise applications such as HubSpot, Kantata, or similar platforms.
    • Strong understanding of business operations and the ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
    • Experience in workflow automation, reporting, and optimizing service delivery.
    • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to interact with various teams, including IT, operations, and leadership.
    • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
