We are now looking for a Senior Consultant – Product Information Manager to join our growing Strategy & Consulting Practice. If you’re a data-driven problem solver, love helping brands streamline product information management (PIM) systems, and thrive in a consultative, client-facing role, we’d love to hear from you!
About the Role
As a Senior Consultant, you will be a trusted expert in Product Information Management (PIM), responsible for advising clients on how to optimise product data across digital commerce, marketing, and operations. You will analyse existing data structures, governance strategies, and information flow, helping clients improve the accuracy, consistency, and efficiency of their product data.
This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, technical expertise, and excellent client engagement skills. You will work closely with global brands to design, implement, and optimise PIM solutions, ensuring their content and product information supports seamless digital experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Strategy & Consultancy:
- Engage with clients to understand their business challenges and develop tailored solutions for product data management.
- Lead stakeholder workshops and discovery sessions to assess existing data structures, identify gaps, and define optimisation strategies.
- Advise on best practices for product information syndication, governance, and automation.
- Act as the primary point of contact for client stakeholders, building strong relationships and managing expectations.
Product Information & Data Management:
- Guide clients on PIM system selection, implementation, and optimisation, ensuring high-quality product data across multiple channels.
- Improve data governance processes, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and compliance with industry standards.
- Help clients with taxonomy and hierarchy development, improving how product data is structured and categorised.
- Support GDSN (Global Data Synchronisation Network) implementations, ensuring smooth data syndication across global markets.
Project Leadership & Delivery:
- Lead consultancy projects, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and high-quality delivery.
- Develop key consulting outputs such as roadmaps, process maps, requirements documentation, and strategic recommendations.
- Provide guidance to partner agencies, e-commerce teams, and sales teams to streamline product data sharing.
- Support change management initiatives, helping clients adopt new technologies and best practices.
Industry & Best Practices:
- Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging MarTech tools, and new approaches to digital commerce and content operations.
- Develop thought leadership materials and contribute to ICP’s best practice frameworks for product information management.
- Share knowledge internally, collaborating with colleagues across different ICP teams and offices.
What You’ll Bring
· Confidence in a consulting or client-facing role, ideally within product information management, digital transformation, or content operations.
- Experience working with PIM systems, such as Salsify, Akeneo, Informatica, Stibo, or similar platforms.
- A deep understanding of product data structures, taxonomies, and system integrations.
- Experience with GDSN implementations and data syndication strategies.
- Strong project management skills, with experience leading global projects and managing multiple stakeholders.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies, Jira, and Confluence is a plus.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage senior client stakeholders.
- A problem-solving mindset and a natural curiosity to drive innovation in product information management.
