About the role
The Senior Production Director is a highly effective leader responsible for overseeing regional content studio engagements, their operations, and the successful delivery of client work. While this role plays a critical part in ICP’s Content Studios Senior Leadership Team—driving operational strategy, supporting business growth, and ensuring delivery excellence—it also includes a hands-on element, requiring direct involvement in the delivery of key client projects.
This position is both client-facing and operational, blending strong project management expertise, leadership skills, and hands-on production execution. It requires efficiently managing internal teams, collaborating with global partners, and personally delivering high-quality work for selected key accounts. The Regional Production Director also supports business development efforts with existing and prospective clients by working closely with Client Partners and the Sales Team.
How You Will Make an Impact:
- Act as the regional lead for all content production, ensuring projects meet ICP’s high standards and client satisfaction.
- Manage and grow client relationships, serving as a trusted partner and escalation point when needed.
- Support Client Partners and the Global Head of Content Studios in developing client strategies, ensuring project management teams execute them effectively in line with business objectives.
- Lead and participate in North America new business pitches, RFP/RFI submissions, and business development initiatives in collaboration with the Global Head of Content Studio, Sales Team and Client Partners.
- Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities, showcasing ICP’s value through tailored solutions.
- Take direct responsibility for delivering production projects for key clients, ensuring exceptional outcomes.
Hands-On Production Delivery:
- Personally manage and oversee critical client projects, ensuring hands-on involvement in high-priority deliverables.
- Lead by example in producing high-quality, efficient, and creative solutions for client challenges.
- Provide expertise in creative production processes and establish best practices for project execution.
Team Management:
- Lead, inspire, and manage PM teams in the region, ensuring effective recruitment, capacity planning, and personal development.
- Foster innovation and collaboration within project teams to maintain a high standard of work delivery.
- Develop and monitor KPIs and development goals for team members, fostering continuous growth.
- Champion ICP’s culture, values, and processes across teams while ensuring alignment with global standards.
Delivery Excellence:
- Ensure delivery meets high standards of creativity, quality, and efficiency across all clients in the region.
- Act as a new client implementation manager for onboarding and setting up new accounts.
- Lead kick-offs, manage time planning, and oversee resource allocation for project teams.
- Deliver exceptional project oversight while directly contributing to key client work.
Financial Management:
- Ensure accuracy in financial tracking and client billing, working closely with the Finance Team.
- Manage estimates, reconciliations, and project profitability.
- Support revenue growth through rate card negotiations and revenue initiatives for production services.
Leadership and Strategy:
- Collaborate with the Global Head of Content Studio to develop and implement strategic goals for the studio.
- Proactively explore innovative production strategies, leveraging ICP’s global capabilities to enhance market positioning.
- Serve as a role model, demonstrating a balance of strategic oversight and hands-on client delivery to inspire teams and strengthen client trust.
