About the role

The Art Director will play a vital role in supporting the Head of Art Direction in managing and delivering high-quality creative adaptations for international brands. Our work primarily involves adapting and iterating on established brand creatives, ensuring that all materials align with brand guidelines and meet market-specific requirements. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in visual design, attention to detail, and the ability to creatively interpret and adapt existing concepts for a global audience. 


How You Will Make an Impact:


Creative Adaptation and Execution: 

  • Work closely with the Head of Art Direction to adapt and localize creative assets across various markets, ensuring brand consistency and cultural relevance. 
  • Develop visual concepts, layouts, and adaptations for print, digital, OOH, and multimedia platforms based on established brand guidelines. 
  • Produce high-quality visuals that respect the brand’s core identity while creatively adjusting for regional nuances. 
  • Develop new visual concepts where required for new creative, primarily for digital & CRM.

Collaboration and Client Understanding: 

  • Partner with internal team in both Mexico and London to understand client briefs and adapt global creative for specific market needs. 
  • Collaborate on projects with an emphasis on iteration and refinement, focusing on detail-oriented adaptations rather than new-to-world creative concepts. 
  • Support the team in preparing mockups and presentations that clearly communicate how adapted assets meet project requirements. 
  • Design Execution and Brand Consistency: 
  • Execute designs that adhere to brand standards, guidelines, and specifications across various formats and platforms. 
  • Conduct quality checks and reviews to ensure brand integrity is maintained throughout all adaptations and localized versions. 
  • Stay up-to-date with each client’s brand guidelines and ensure all creative adaptations align with those standards.

Feedback and Continuous Improvement: 

  • Receive and implement feedback from the Head of Art Direction to refine creative outputs and meet high standards of quality. 
  • Contribute ideas for streamlining adaptation workflows, enhancing efficiency and consistency in creative output. 
  • Stay informed of design and adaptation trends, ensuring our work remains fresh, relevant, and aligned with industry standards. 

What You'll Have:

  • Proven experience in an art direction or junior to mid-level design role, preferably working on international brands with a focus on adaptations and localized content. 
  • A strong portfolio showcasing experience in brand-led design and creative adaptations. 
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and familiarity with multimedia design tools. 
  • Experience working in Figma is very useful. 
  • Solid understanding of design principles and an ability to work within brand constraints while ensuring creative quality. 
  • Strong communication skills, with an emphasis on collaboration and responsiveness to feedback. 
  • Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment, meeting deadlines and adapting to shifting project needs.
